Santa Visits Cedar Roe Library

We don’t usually like to be name-dropping celebrities that come into the library. After all, we take your privacy seriously. Still, there is one exception. A visit from Santa, particularly during his busy season, how could we possibly resist sharing?

Homeschoolers Visit with Fiber Artist Susan Hill

Fiber Artist Susan Hill has been the Artist-in-Residence for the month of December at the Central Resource Library. Susan, for over the past week, has been entertaining patrons and staff with a demonstration of her creativity and work. However, this week is Susan’s last at the library, so don’t miss you chance to watch her skillful hands work the loom and to see the variety of textiles she uses in her art. Just last Friday, a group of homeschoolers were able to watch Susan work. They had a hands-on opportunity to play with her loom and textiles, as well ask questions. Staff and Patrons Celebrate at Gardner Library

Shane Evans Visits Blue Valley Library

The Blue Valley Neighborhood Library recently hosted children’s illustrator Shane Evans and his family. Shane Evans is an award winning illustrator, whose work is often influenced by his travels to Africa, the Caribbean, and South America.
